As you as you walk into Foxy Lady Brockton, you're going to be both excited and confused. Yes, there's definitely a large stage in front of you with beautiful women seductively removing their lingerie, but it's also seems to be set up like a two storey British hunting lodge, with stairways going every which way. There's little nooks and crannies and private booths and doorways into private VIP areas, the whole place feels like it's worth exploring a bit before you even take your seat. It certainly doesn't feel like an average strip club, and that's what makes all the difference in your experience here (especially when they bring in featured entertainers from the adult industry in Los Angeles and Vegas).

You'll also feel that difference when you buy your first round of drinks or dances, which are bit more expensive than other adult establishments (the food is expensive, too, but is actually quite good). They have to make up the fact that the cover charge is actually pretty decent ($10, but more if there is a featured entertainer), and, before 7PM, nonexistent (yes, it's great that it's free to come in during the day, but you won't find many people here, customers or dancers, unless there's going to be a Patriots night game). A great way to get a lot more bang for your buck is to come here for a birthday or bachelor party, because they have a lot of great packages that combine drinks and dances together (they also suggest coming here for business meetings, but I still don't know what kind of industry would come here to talk business. Maybe just adult entertainment?).

-in addition to a great selection of liquors and cocktails, the food menu is surprisingly good, even the lunch buffet which switches styles (sometimes Italian, sometimes Chinese)

-several big screen TVs so you can watch the game when not watching the ladies

-if you have a ticket stub, you get in free

-deals include private parties and the t-shirt extravaganza (where you get two private dances, club passes and a t-shirt)

-they even have their own 'money', which are called Foxy Dollars (and can only be spent here)

-a grand piano is right in the main area, available for playing at certain times

-many featured entertainers (porn stars, dancers) from Los Angeles or Las Vegas perform here on weekends

CONCLUSION:

Not all strip clubs can graduate to the level of gentleman's club, but Foxy Lady Brockton has done it, even with the slight handicap of not being very close to a metropolitan area. That means they had to work really hard to make it worth the drive from Boston, and I can say with certainly that all the work has paid off.

While I wouldn't say that the actual interior of the club is the main attraction (as that would be a huge disservice to the beautiful and talented dancers), it's definitely a huge plus. Too many strip clubs are just one big dimly lit room, and Foxy Lady Brockton is practically an adult playground on two floors. if you don't mind shelling out a bit more money than you usually would on a night out, then this place should definitely be your one and only stop.

Pros

  • Foxy Lady Brockton is like an adults only funhouse, where the layout of the club is part of its attraction. There's a massive stage on the second floor with winding stairways up to it, and a seating area underneath, that still gives a good view at one of the stage extensions. The decor is impeccable, with wooden stairways, stages, and railings, giving off a very debonair, high class feel to the whole place. If you take your eyes off the stage for a moment, you wouldn't even think that you're in a strip club, but something like a private club, watching the Red Sox or Patriots on a big screen TV. Any gentleman's club that's willing to invest in a grand piano on the off chance that maybe one of their ladies will do a dance on top of it gets high marks from me.

    The dancers themselves are worth mentioning and just because there's extremely attractive, but because they're also extremely friendly. But not at all pushy in terms of pressuring you for a lap dance. It's extremely easy to just small talk with them first, and let's be honest, when everyone is more relaxed, then it's more likely that you'll eventually say yes to a lap dance. This friendliness extends to the rest of the staff, from the bouncers (and occasional hired police officer on busy weekends) to the bartenders and waitstaff. With everyone giving their best, it makes for an evening you won't forget, which means you'll probably already be planning another one.

Cons

  • The place is definitely on the expensive side, but that makes complete sense, considering the quality of this place, not only in the staff but in the appearance and cleanliness. The is not just seen in the cover charges, but the drinks and dances as well (even the bottles of water are pricey). Spending hundreds of dollars to have a good time here is the norm, not the exception, and I can see how that would turn off a lot of potential customers.

    After all, if the service you're getting is high quality, then it makes sense to tip the same way. For many people who don't do this, and assume that the cover and the drinks should pay for your whole experience, there shouldn't be a surprise if you are not treated as politely as you might hope.

    The fact that it's a bit of a drive from central Boston, and that Brockton isn't exactly a huge place means it can be pretty quiet in there in the afternoons, especially on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. it's a problem that a lot of strip clubs have, but it seems to be a lot more obvious when you walk into a bigger place like Foxy Lady Brockton, and there's only one woman onstage, dancing for only four or five people. And of course, the opposite occurs on weekends (especially when the Patriots are playing in nearby Foxboro), when the place is absolutely packed and you might have to wait in line outside, and have a hard time finding a seat once you get in.
