Show Palace Sex Club Review

INTRODUCTION:

There's a lot of ways to party in Houston, but if you want to keep it really simple, then there's no problem at all in looking for some great gentleman's clubs for you to choose from. And I use that term specifically, because if a place is offering as much as Show Palace does in terms of quality (while also charging quite a bit), then it immediately elevates itself from 'strip club' to 'gentleman's club'.

There's no way around it. The deal prices at Show Palace are sometimes close to the regular prices at other strip clubs, but as soon as you step inside you can see onstage where a lot of the money is going. Some of the hottest and most talented dancers in the city work here, and once you pay for a table, it won't be long before they walk by and give you an opportunity to have a private show with them in the champagne room.

ABOUT:

As far as setups go, Show Palace keeps that part simple. You pay to park, you pay to get in, and once you're inside it's a pretty straightforward strip club layout: Large open main area with the stage extending into the crowd, bar along the left hand side as you enter, and private (champagne) rooms on your right. It 'becomes' a gentleman's club when you realize to actually get a seat at a table close to the stage costs up to one hundred dollars (a bit cheaper if you're coming at off-peak hours), and is only slightly cheaper the further back the table happens to be.

If you came with that sort of money (or had the foresight to take advantage of the BYOB rule, and decided to bring your own alcohol to save from buying it at the bar), then you're in for quite a good time, because you're quickly 'marked' as a high-roller and get 'first dibs' at the ladies when they finish their routine and do a walkthrough of the crowd. And the thing is, after seeing the women onstage and then even chatting with them briefly at your table, you certainly would want to spend a bit more time with them in private because they are some of the hottest - and friendliest (which is also a huge turn on, of course) - women I've ever seen in a gentleman's club.

The flip side to this, of course, is that if you didn't splurge for a table, and also found yourself buying not-cheap drinks at the bar, you might have to wait a while before a dancer walks by to offer a chance to have a bit more fun.

FEATURES:

-located in south Houston, only ten minutes from Hobby airport and twenty minutes from downtown

-age restriction is eighteen years old and up

-Wednesday night is ladies night, where women get in free and can get $10 lap dances

-dress code is enforced, which is no hoodies, no wave-caps, no du-rags, no bandanas, no cut-off sleeves

-while the clear and obvious rule is no touching the dancers, there is no problem with them touching you during the private dances in the VIP area

-as several other strip clubs in the city have different 'levels' of nudity they will allow, it should be noted that this one certainly does offer 'fully nude' women

-use of cameras are prohibited

-no drugs or weapons

-open during the day, so it makes a fun lunchtime trip

-as you are allowed to bring in your own drinks (BYOB), you can save a lot of money that you would have spent on booze at the bar

-hookahs available for rent, which really adds an exotic feeling to the night

-a really fun place that can cater to bachelor(tete) and birthdays celebrations

CONCLUSION:

Whether your a Houston local or a visitor, you always want your nights out to be the best they possibly can, and it's definitely true that the Show Palace can offer you some of the best adult entertainment you can possibly imagine. As long as you're willing to pay for it. If you've got the bills, then it's a gentleman's club, and the experience you'll have will definitely be one you can't tell your grandchildren about. If you're a bit cash strapped (and the staff see you bringing in drinks from the convenience store across the street), then it's a strip club, and it's just slightly less fun.

I definitely feel like this is the sort of place that maybe you should save up for over a bit of time, because too often strip clubs get a bad rap as being a crappy little dives that are a waste of money, but it's only that if you approach it that way. And at least The Show Palace is offering an alternative. It pays to be comfortable on a night out, and this place promises that, especially those extremely comfortable seats.

Pros
  • There's obviously no such thing as a family strip club, but the Show Palace is certainly one with 'the family man' in mind. Too many clubs in Houston don't start popping until past midnight, when people who have been up since six or seven thirty in the morning are already having a hard time keeping their eyes open. Here, the party has already started at nine pm, with some of the featured dancers starting their shows at ten. I don't want to make it sound like a gentleman's club should have a rigid schedule, but it's nice to actual have a nice, sexy time at a strip club and still be home for midnight.

The other obvious plus that can't go unmentioned is that some of the hottest, most talented dancers in the city work here and you can see that not only in there appearance, but the energy they put into their routines onstage, as well as how they handle themselves when they come up to you are offer a private dance in the champagne room (which, pro tip, you should pay for upfront, before they start).

It's expensive sure, but there are some decent workarounds, like bringing your own cups and ice and mix, which is great, because they can really gouge you on the drinks. If you rented a hookah, it increases the chances of the dancers coming to your table first. And as slight side note that I never gave much thought to until I sat down, but the seats here are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in at any strip club, gentleman's club, and maybe even restaurants. I was totally relaxed immediately.

Cons
  • The old adage 'you get what you pay for' is certainly true when it comes to Show Palace. The ladies and the great time they offer doesn't come cheap. Twenty dollars is an acceptable door fee, but as soon as you're inside you have to pay a table fee, and it goes up the closer you want to sit near the stage, going up to one hundred dollars for front row. If you drove here, this should feel familiar, as they stagger the parking lot the same way. Drinks themselves are quite expensive, even if they have deals and discounts at certain times of the day. $7 for a glass of water is pretty crazy, but you can work around all of this if you just bring in your own drinks (which is allowed). You know the prices are a source of annoyance for a lot of patrons when you can actually hear them gripe about it between dances when the music gets a bit low.

Certainly related to this is the fact that the dancers are allowed to set their own rates for private dances, which means you are rolling the dice when you get into the private area. It's very helpful to pay for the dance before you start, as they have a tendency to get more expensive from the time they start.
