Numbers Night Club - Kinky Tuesdays Weekend Sex Club Review

INTRODUCTION:

I thought I had it tough just trying to find someone who was into the idea of an open relationship, but I think it's even harder to put on BDSM events at a concert venue that for six nights of the week just puts on regular shows and is considered one of the top 50 small concert venues in the country. So an early kudos to Numbers Night Club, where - thanks to Kinky Tuesdays presented by the Kinky Collective - the stage of one of the best nightclubs in Houston is filled St Andrews' crosses and a ton of other BDSM furniture, and lucky participants are whipped and squeezed for the benefit of the just as lucky attendees, me and my partner included.

The BDSM and swinging community is alive and well in Houston, but it can be very discreet, in a blink and you'll miss it sort of way. I must have walked by posters inside Numbers several times when just going to see some concert before I noticed that it was an advertisement for Numbers Night Club - Kinky Tuesdays, which was not only happening here, but happening every single Tuesday. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I went the first time, and was quite nervous, but it was amazing, and now it's a regular part of my schedule.

ABOUT:

If you are even remotely interested in the world of BDSM (which stands for Bondage-Domination-Sadism-Masochism), this is an excellent way to get your feet wet. The Kinky Collective has found a wonderful way to give the 'too long: didn't read' version of sexual kinks and fetishes that won't cause a majority of attendees recoiling in horror. Taking place in an actual nightclub that has regular concerts throughout the week helps ensure that people are going to be a bit more comfortable with any sort of show here, and the rules for a public venue like this prohibits certain types of sexual acts, anyway.

So what will you see when you attend Numbers Night Club - Kinky Tuesdays? Plenty of people in leather (but no nudity) being tied to large pieces of wood and spanked, scantily clad people tied up carefully in ropes being suspended from the ceiling, and scantily clad people with plenty of piercings also being suspended by their piercings from the ceiling. Sometimes there's a strip-tease and burlesque shows. And there is always vendor booths were you can buy local art with a kinky flair to it, as well as some actual gear for a BDSM lifestyle.

In many ways, it's more of alternative arts night than it is about a hot and steamy sex show, but that just gives you the opportunity to learn a lot more of what you can incorporate into your own love life. And if you're having a great time, you might just meet someone there who has the same fantasies and desires as you.

FEATURES:

-the event is put on by The Kinky Collective, a group of BDSM fans who push for a healthy, positive approach to the kinky lifestyle

-all guests must be eighteen or older to attend

-$5.00 cover per person, $7.00 per couple, and $10 for those eighteen to twenty years old

-while it is definitely an environment where you can meet and revel with those who share the same fantasies as yourself, harassment and sexual solicitation are not permitted

-LGBTQ friendly

-drugs are strictly prohibited

-the show focuses exclusively on soft to mild BDSM play, and there is a strict 'no sex' rule when it comes to onstage activities

-some events have had burlesque artists, circus performers, and erotic poetry as part of the show

-additional theme nights range from 'All Things Erotic' to 'Gothic Beauty Pageant'

CONCLUSION:

When it comes to learning what kind of fantasies get you excited, you can't (and shouldn't) always rely on what you see on the internet. Attending Numbers Night Club - Kinky Tuesdays is a fun and safe way to take a first peek into the world of BDSM and and a lot more alternative kinks and fetishes. I think it's awesome that a popular Houston concert venue puts this on ever Tuesday, and I'm thrilled to find out just how big this community is, because it's always filled with a lot of fun rookies and veterans who love to get together and celebrate their fantasies together.

While clearly not a sex club, and actually rather tame compared to what certain levels of BDSM can become, Kinky Tuesdays is a great way to join an ever growing community of people who love celebrating their fetish lifestyle, and in terms of meeting people who might want to broaden your horizons a bit later at your place or theirs, you never know what can happen when the handcuffs come off (or on).

Pros
  • By far the best thing about the Numbers Night Club - Kinky Tuesdays is how friendly and fun it is. For how extreme BDSM can be portrayed (thanks in part to the internet), it's too easy to assume that it's all about the most amount of pain and humiliation is all BDSM can be. Kinky Tuesdays does a great job, at showing at much lighter and softer side of the kink community, and I truly believe that's the best sort of outcome you could ever want. The shows attracts at broader audience this way, and hey, if you do want so stuff a little harder and extreme, it's good that you came here to find out where your fantasies lie on the spectrum.

The venue itself is perfect for people who are just curious, and wouldn't feel comfortable going to an actual S&M dungeon (there are a couple in Houston) or a sex club. The fact that it takes place in a well know concert venue for 'regular' shows will certainly help the comfort level.

The sheer variety of the sort of acts that you might see - suspension piercing, pole dancing, a short master/slave act that doesn't get too intense - is one of the the reasons why it's always worth coming back again and again. Even the vendor booths change up occasionally, so there's always something interesting and new to buy (and support your local artists).

Cons
  • While 'The Kinky Collective presents Kinky Tuesdays' sounds about as sexy as it can get, the presenters are very clear about the rules, which are both written and stated from the stage: No sex. There will be no sex onstage, and because this is a normal concert venue, there is no private area or series of back room where guests are permitted to engage in any sexual activity themselves. This is not a sex club by any means, it is a lightly sexualized show, and that means most people attending are only audience members, not participants or performers. And if you are either of those two, you are still following the rules put forth by the organizers.

All of this is to say that you should not come here to swap partners swinging-style, or expect to have your way with someone heavily into a master/slave relationship. It is not that kind of event.

A much smaller negative might be that for people who do enjoy at much more extreme level of BDSM, they might find the show here at Number Night Club relatively tame. While it still might be a good chance to meet other people in the BDSM community, it will come off more as introduction to light BDSM than actual sessions with a dominatrix.
