A lot of strips clubs try to boost their reputation by using the terms 'gentleman's club' but this place rushed right past that one and moved on to talking about the food. While it's not the only measure of a good adult club, it definitely shows that they want to do things better than their competitors, and Delilah's makes sure their customers notice. Even if the layout and lighting of the place is pretty similar to most other strip clubs, you notice how clean and comfortable the seats are. Even the bathrooms - a test of quality if there ever was one - are well-maintained and pristine.

But you understand why they can offer this sort of service, because it can get quite expensive quite quickly here. The party package deals are usually the way to go if you're here for a bachelor or birthday party, but there is a lot of pressure from the dancers to get a private lap dance. If you do want to pinch some pennies, they do offer some drink and food deals during the week, but it's obviously a lot quieter than (in terms of ladies and vibe).

-they offer special party packages for bachelor, bachelorette, divorce and birthday parties, and can range from $50 to $150 per person (the more expensive, the more drink tickets and food is included)

-by becoming a member you do not have to pay cover, and can bring in one guest as well (who also doesn't have to pay cover), and you have access to the VIP area (Ruby Lounge) and get invitations to special events

When it comes to having a great time in Philadelphia with some beautiful women and delicious steak - and let's be honest, that's a hard thing to say no to - then there's no reason to consider any other place than Delilah's. They've definitely earned the 'gentleman's club and steakhouse' that they have placed after their name. Yes, it can a bit expensive once you're inside, and that's why for me it's more of a special occasion visit than a weekly stop-in, but when I want to show my friends a good time, whether from Philly or further away, this place is usually on the top of my list. Heck the fact that the food is great means you can skip the restaurant beforehand and come right here. By aiming to be more than just a strip club, Delilah's has become one of the go-to nightspots in the city.

Pros

  • When I first went to Delilah's it was for a bachelor party, and I've never had a VIP experience like that. It was definitely worth the money, especially because it was open bar for a couple hours. And a lot of the mixed drinks we ordered were watered down a bit, but that was almost a good thing, because this really doesn't feel like a place where you want to get sloppy drunk in, even if it is for a bachelor party. You want to enjoy the ladies and the food, not have it become a blur.

    The next time I came I got in for free because I had a ticket stub from the Phillies game, which is a great deal, and because it was right after the game, the place was really packed, and that really helps the atmosphere in a place like this. It means everyone wants to have fun, including all the people working there, from the servers to the dancers. Since most of the drinks and dances here can get quite expensive quite quickly, it's great that they have occasional offers to help you save some cash (like the ticket stub entry, and weekly drink special in the evening).

    The fact that it's clean and pristine goes a long way, and I know a lot of people who think strips clubs are a fun idea but that most are too dirty, so this the only gentleman's club they'll ever come to. And yes, the food is very good. It takes a lot of courage to claim that you're a steakhouse when you also have dancers onstage getting nude, but it works. While not the greatest steak I've ever had, it was definitely better than a place like Applebee's.

Cons

  • Delilah's is expensive, there's not getting around that. If you want high quality, you have to pay for it, and not necessarily just at the door, or even for the drinks. How much you tip your bartender, servers, and certainly the dancers makes a huge difference how you'll be treated here. That said, if you are going to get a lap dance, it helps to have a clear head to decide on a price beforehand, otherwise the total will come out of thin air, and usually be more than you expected.

    While the women onstage (or in the champagne room) are quite beautiful and have a lot of talent and put on a sexy show, it should be known that the woman do not get fully nude. Whether you think that's worth the price of not only admission but any dances, that's up to you.

    Maybe they've finally added one now, but when I went there last they still didn't have an ATM machine inside, which I thought was ridiculous. It was a really headache having to leave the place, go to the gas station across the street and then come back and tell the guy out front that you were already inside.
