The Pleasure Garden Club Sex Club Review

INTRODUCTION:

Wanting an open relationship ruined one of my relationships, but pretty much saved the one I'm in right now. My partner and I were very straightforward and honest right when we started dating about what we were looking for, and how things didn't work out with past ex's. And doing this up front was the best decision, because now we can enjoy each other's company all day and trust that when we go out and party all night with different people, we'll still have the same feelings as before.

Of course, what's important in a swinging lifestyle is having a great place to actually go out and do it. The internet has made it easy to meet people online in your area, and then you can go their place or vice versa, but for me and my partner, the old school way is still the best. And when it comes to sex clubs in the greater Philadelphia area, nothing touches The Pleasure Garden Club. I've never been to a place that's as packed as normal nightclub on a Friday night, that is always ten times as much fun.

ABOUT:

The Pleasure Garden Club is easy to get to, just over the Schuylill River in south Philadelphia. Like a lot of private sex clubs, you need to get a membership (for couples or single women and men, although the latter cannot attend Saturday night) first, which can be bought online or at the door. And once you step inside, the first thing you'll notice is that it definitely looks like a normal nightclub, but also that it's huge. You'll get a guided tour by longtime members, and they'll show you the more intimate areas in the back of the club, including the group showers, and several different themed rooms. When we attended it was early enough that no one had gotten there yet, so we went back to the main dance floor area and had a great time dancing and chatting with other couples there. They don't several alcohol but you were welcome to bring your own.

As the night went on, we were really getting touchy feely on the dance floor (and getting excited as others did the same), and when we headed back to the back areas, it was an incredible site of writhing, sexy bodies, and after some quick smiles and nods, we enthusiastically joined in. The showers were wonderful, and when we needed to pick up some fun toys, their little boutique really came in handy.

Everything there worked very smoothly, and it was an extremely clean, friendly and positive environment. The membership for us was only $30, and even the ticket price are very reasonable, averaging out around $50 per event. Then there's the food selection (a full dinner on Saturdays, and BBQ's in the summer), which is great for a place like this, where you can really work up an appetite.

-located southwest of downtown Philadelphia, just off I-76

-BDSM/Dungeon equipment is bought out every Friday and Saturday night

-several themed rooms, like the camelot room, the spanks room, the disco room, etc.

CONCLUSION:

When it comes to swinging in Philadelphia, there's really only one choice as far as my partner and I are concerned, and it's The Pleasure Garden Club. It was the one we heard about from friends as being the best, and it has never disappointed. A friendly staff, a well-maintained club, and a huge member base who are always looking to have a lot of fun on a Friday or Saturday night. I actually look forward to the BBQ's they have during the summer months.

The swinging lifestyle has become more and more popular over the years, and it's thanks to places like this that gives open relationships a really good name. It might start with just wanting to switch partners, but it ends up being a whole lot more. The Pleasure Garden Club makes being easy, very easy.

Pros
  • By far the best thing about The Pleasure Garden Club is that because it does so many basic things so well (that any club should be able to do) there is always so many people coming to these events on Fridays and Saturdays, which means you and your partner have an amazing choice of sexy people to spend the night with. Sometimes there can be up to three hundred people in the place, and if you didn't know any better - or head to the more intimate areas - you might think it was just a normal nightclub.

But it's because The Pleasure Garden Club also puts a lot of work in these themed rooms that their clientele of swingers keeps coming back. A room full of some BDSM equipment and furniture is always nice, but adding some painted walls and props goes a long way to help the fantasies along, and that's really what we're all here to fulfill. My partner and I have attended several events in the last year or so, and have even volunteered to show new members around. The Pleasure Garden Club does a great job at creating that community atmosphere. And that even extends to their website, because it's great how easy it is to buy your membership and event tickets online, which means you're guaranteed admittance to their super popular theme parties (I've always been partial to anything beach themed, where it's bikinis and speedos as far as the eye can see).

Cons
  • There's really not much negative to say about this place, just some minor nitpicking. With smoking being allowed inside, it's definitely going to slowly cover the whole club, even if there's supposed to be a separate section. That smell mixed with perfume and sweat isn't great, but at least a lot of people are moving to e-cigarettes.

For how busy it is, it's a shame that it's only open Fridays and Saturdays. Sometimes it's hard to get a ticket the night of the event if you show up at the door (fortunately, you only make this mistake once, and then always buy ahead of time online). There's even been lines to get in. While it's obvious that weekend nights are when people most want to play, maybe making Thursday a 'rookie night', or something like that, would relieve the pressure.
