Mass Pleasures Los Angeles Sex Club Review

INTRODUCTION:

Are you tired of swinging in your own bed, or the bed of the person you're swinging with? Well why not try having an open relationship for one night in a luxurious mansion? Sex clubs have come a long way from their beginnings in the 1970s (before that, they were pretty much just brothels or informal get-togethers at peoples' houses), and because it's generally understood that people with a lot of money like to have hot bedroom fun just as much as people who don't, it didn't take long for upper-class swinging to become a thing.

Enter Mass Pleasures, the invitation only sex club where the actual sex is only part of the draw (okay, it's still the main part). it's fitting that Los Angeles is this club's headquarters, because this city has always been about hedonistic, fantasy lifestyles that most people just want to experience for once in their lives. While some people come here to see or become a celebrity, people who scrounge up enough money to be able to attend a Mass Pleasures event just want to live, party, and swing like a celebrity, at least for one night.

ABOUT:

When it comes to having sex with beautiful men and women in mansions and on yachts, you're choices are rather limited. Even all the hard work and luck in the world might not get you that sort of day-to-day lifestyle, but thanks to Mass Pleasures, you can at least get a taste of it seven or eight times per year. That's how often they hold events, at very discreet locations that are only announced twenty fours hours prior to the starting time (fortunately, you can at least be certain it is within the LA area…even though that's pretty big).

The few events I was able to attend meant that my jaw dropped the first time I pulled up to the gate of the huge house it was taking place in, and then again when I cautiously walked through the cavernous, elegantly decorated halls with my partner and saw all the beautiful people wearing masks and socializing and dancing. On some tables and couches, people were already beginning to remove their clothes, and it wasn't clear if they were performers for the event, or other members who couldn't wait to move to some of the private play rooms, but it didn't seem to matter, as long as everyone was clearly having a good time.

Which honestly is the same sort of attitude at the average swinger clubs that I've attended. Here, the mystique isn't necessarily in the sex, but everything around it. The exclusivity of membership (you have to apply online, and send photos of yourself), the secrecy of the location, the extravagance of the homes and boats, the incredible (and expensive) liquor selection, the huge array of delicious foods, the knowledge that you are at a party with wealthy and influential people. It's called Mass Pleasures because it's not just sex that you're enjoying.

CONCLUSION:

Sometimes when I was at a Mass Pleasures events, I kind of forgot that I was there as a person. I felt like I was character in a movie, just moving from room to room, taking in not only some erotic scenes but also just the luxury that was all around me. Everything about the experience excited me, and it just goes to show how pleasure comes in many forms, and that it's easy to combine sexual pleasure with more economic-based ones. I know that it's an evening that many people certainly dream of.

At the same time, it's clear that Mass Pleasures isn't for everyone, and that's not just because of how expensive and exclusive membership is. There are a lot of different ways to embrace the swinging lifestyle, and not everyone wants to pour expensive champagne over a beautiful woman's body in a stately mansion. But for those of you who do want that, try Mass Pleasures.

Pros
  • Mass Pleasures is of course a big success because it combines sex and wealth in Los Angeles, a city where these two joys of life go hand in hand. While I don't want to make it sound like I'm living the American Dream by starting out at some small sex clubs where membership is like fifty dollars a year and am now going to events put on by this company that are many hundreds of dollars more, a lot of the fun you end up having at a place like this is all the lead up before the sex. The fancy house and Dom Perignon and the beautiful people dancing are all just forms of foreplay that slowly get you more and more excited for when you do start to chat with some of the other guests and eventually make your way up to the play rooms.

The other thing that the more expensive membership and ticketing gets you is incredible service not only from the staff at the events (who do an incredible job at every level, from helping you find your way as soon as you arrive, to even cleaning up after you, whether it's in the dining room or the bedroom), but online, where you can definitely get prompt and friendly responses from the organizers, who can tell you everything you need to know. Having such a strong online presence goes a long way in providing discreetness and privacy, which a lot of people who attend these events value highly.

Cons
  • Well, first and foremost is that the expensive price tag just to join (and the various levels of VIP that can be included) means it's going to scare off a lot more people than it is going to draw them in with its exclusivity. Membership is high enough, and then are events tickets that can easily go into the hundreds of dollars. If you think this is just tearing down a social barrier regarding sex but then just creating an economic one, Mass Pleasures might not be for you, even if it is within your budget.

The fact there is no central location is a bit frustrating, since you never really know where you're going to be headed until the day before. It's usually not to long of a drive, but I always liked to be able to plan ahead of time. Plus there's the odd chance that an event location can change again, which means you always have to be ready to change plans at a moment's notice (and you don't get refunds once you buy the tickets for the event)

Something you might not really consider is that until you arrive is that while membership and the tickets are already expensive, paying for ultra-premium drinks isn't cheap, either. Maybe for a lot of guests this is just a small blip for their bank account, but for me it was always something to be aware of at these parties.
