You can't say a club is good until you get there, and after my stint yesterday, I personally believe that Eyz Wide Shut is one the swinger clubs in Tampa really worth going to. I was supposed to go out with two of my girlfriends, but when my boyfriend also became free at the last minute, the idea of three girls alone out in the club seemed less interesting. I chose to go with Mikey, my boyfriend. Mikey and I have been swinging for a while (which is how we're still together) but we haven't really visited that many swinger sex clubs until recently. We arrived at Eyz Wide Shut at nearly 10 am, which we didn't intend. Eyz Wide Shut grabs your attention immediately on arrival and doesn't let you go till you arrive. The fees at the door were confusing at first but we worked them out. The dancefloor was on fire. We danced for hours because the DJ was in a good mood too. Later on, Mikey nipped my ear and told me we should get outta there. I immediately knew what he meant. We slinked off into one of the playrooms - and yes, they're as erotically cool as promised. CONCLUSION:

I may be slightly new to the idea of Tampa sex parties and Tampa Sex Clubs, but for the few hours I spent inside Eyz Wide Shut, I believe I saw the best of Tampa's swinger sex clubs, and I will surely be back. Going out to nightclubs is so much fun, but at some point it gets boring. Eyz Wide Shut made the nightclub experience uniquely different for me, with its classy offerings tied to the sexy, lusty playrooms on the other side of the property. I made full use of either service, and am sure my boyfriend and I had the best time ever. The best bit about this club to me was that it was designed for swingers; in fact it has a discount for swingers that subscribe to SDC. To find an establishment like this one, and find it as classy and attractive as this one, without being too expensive (for couples at least), was a breath of fresh air. It felt wonderful meeting other couples in the club that had lusty feelings for us; at some point in the night we invited them over to our playroom and they obliged. No judgment, no embarrassment, nothing. Also, thanks to the club for having enough playrooms for everyone and for fitting them wonderfully. We never worried about being displaced mid-action. I always wondered what made a swinger sex club work, because it seemed so ridiculous an idea. Now, I believe there is no nightclub experience better than that of a swinger sex club, especially of it's Tampa's very own - Eyz Wide Shut. It's worth every penny you spend there and more.

Pros

After my experience at Eyz Wide Shut last night, there's a lot I am fully appreciative of about the club. A good club experience doesn't come from just booze and dancing, and this club seemed to know that. For one, Eyz Wide Shut seems to understand the concept of security and how to maintain it. I wasn't bothered by all the background and body checks at the entrance; I know how dangerous public places like these can be. I also loved the metal detector at the entrance and the no weapons rule. Another bit that I loved were the additional amenities one can find here; the lockers and the mailboxes are real winners. The playrooms are some of the best I've used; the vinyl mattresses and the safe, clean environment were major turn-ons. I might have mentioned this, but the nightclub here is FIRE!!! Everyone was just having a wild time and minding their business. There were mostly couples like us around, so no creepy thirsty people lurking around. The bar was a happy one, fully stocked to my liking. There is a way everything in this club is done according to an orderly fashion, despite the fact that no one seems to be watching anyone. It's fun, fun, fun, but there is no chaos anywhere. Did I mention that this place has an upscale quality to it that you don't find anywhere else? I guess I should thank the rules in place for nearly everything for that. As a result you have a classy location that's also erotic, which to me was like the gold standard. Also, major props for the parking space and for the designing this place with swingers in mind. It's great to meet like-minded people.

Cons

There is always a downside to almost every good thing, so it's not hard to see when some of Eyz Wide Shut's best efforts also result in some not-so-good experiences. For starters, I hated that once people left the premises, they couldn't be allowed back in. I know it's a security thing, but I nearly got caught up in it. Nearly killed my night. Also, the fact that the place allows entry only until 2:30am was a bit annoying, but what can I say? Security is a priority for me. As a swinger that was already horny and is free with their body, I really wanted to let loose on the dance floor. I therefore had a problem with not being allowed to show my nipples or butt in the nightclub area. I mean, Mike is okay with it so why not Eyz Wide Shut's management. Anyway, I also thought the fees were a bit high, especially for single men on Saturdays and Sundays. Not everyone is in a relationship or can afford to be in one. I also know that as a huge user of websites for finding information, I tend to over-analyze websites. This club has a steady website that's informative, but not enough. I couldn't see the payment options the club wanted or photos from the club on their website, which was a major turn-off. Apart from those, it's hard to remember anything else about the place that deserved a bad rap from me. I had so much fun that it's hard to remember any terrible experiences if there were any. Eyz Wide Shut comes off as a really organized place that's also really upscale without being too stiff.
