After only an hour of being inside this party haven, I knew I was in the right place. The music was just right - classic Bette Midler mixed with early Lady Gaga and more- and the DJ was just heaping gold on more gold. The dance floor was like heaven - all colors and sizes of man candy were there. If you like your leather daddies like me, you'd have been as excited as I was. They were everywhere, and they were beautifully made. I ended up dancing way sexier than I thought I could, but I had nothing to worry about. Everyone just seemed happy to be there. That night there was also a performance from one sexy drag queen whose name I couldn't quite catch. She was glorious. I later ended up rolling around the dance floor with two extremely good looking twinks for hours and later had the pleasure of being approached by one super-hot leather daddy for some fun. Remembering my night at Cristoph's Tampa, there are only a few things I'd change. It was great, and easy for me, the best gay sex club in Tampa. And that's coming from someone that know Tampa's gay sex club scene inside out, having been a regular at many nightclubs since the late 90s. I don't think I knew it would be this great, and I am not easy to please, but Cristoph's Tampa wowed me pretty easily right from the start. If someone else had recommended this club to me just like that. I'd never have visited it. I don't take so well to clubs I haven't heard of. The amenities here screamed quality, and the crowd was happy. The leather daddies - well those are my fetish any day, so I had wild time ogling and touching. I'd do anything to get back the playlist we danced to that night. Even though I am not an avid dancer, the music got me onto the floor and never back into my seat. Thank management for the drag performances too, because those were the reason the party got started in the place. That reminds of the inclusive, proud atmosphere in the club, which just made me feel at home. For anyone looking for a great night out, Cristoph's Tampa is a good place worth visiting. Take a chance on it, if only for the bar and the dance floor. You must try those. The entrance fee is manageable, and the mood is always party-hungry. Just make sure you come in on a good day, which is most likely the weekend, because bad days have the boring parties and you don't want to be part of that.

Pros

I've only been to Cristoph's Tampa once, but that was enough to let me know that I wanted more. I suppose it was a combination of features that made me love the club even more, but the ultimate one was its all-inclusive atmosphere, even though it leaned a bit toward leather and BDSM lovers. I never felt out of place here at all, not even once. The music selection was terrific, and the crowd was wild. I was thrilled that there was no membership required to get in, and that one could pay at the entrance. The VIP section was also superb. The random section gets too crowded at times, so I always go VIP. There was parking available, which saved me tons of time, and when I got in, there was a lounge, thank God, where someone could rest. I met some very interesting people there too. The full bar here is the stuff of legend, and the drinking chips method was new to me but okay and quite orderly. I've got to mention that drag queen performance, because it was really dope. Everything is just so well organized. Another bit that made me happy was the fact that Cristoph's Tampa has a set of rules and etiquette that users must follow when in the club. I have had some really terrible experiences in clubs, so I know that rules are important to have. When coming to Cristoph's Tampa, I initially wanted a private lounge with my friends, before they dropped out and I came alone. The club makes the booking process so easy it's hard to believe how I nearly got one on such a busy day.

Cons

The day I was here, Cristoph's Tampa didn't start out being great. The mood was slightly dry and the audience was low. That was a major downer for me, because I was in such high spirits. Luckily, the party picked up nicely enough by midnight, and it was fun from thereon. One other bit that bugged me was the entrance fee, which I didn't see reason for. If this is just a nightclub like any other, why have an entrance fee? I would have loved a free entrance/buy beer inside policy. I also didn't see any sort of security checking at the entrance; maybe it was there but not on me. This scared me a bit, because there is so much to worry about these days when you're in a club. Also, I love that they have a lounge and a bar and all that, but they should have had playrooms too. The nearby hotels are gorgeous alright, but they are too expensive for hookups. Come on, Cristoph's Tampa, fix us up! I nearly booked a private lounge, but decided to go VIP instead. The trouble was that I couldn't find the fee for any of the VIP services via their website, so I literally went in with my eyes closed. Not the best start. I also browsed the website time and time again but saw no rules or etiquette regulations anywhere, which was scary. It might be a gay club, but we still need rules. I remember seeing someone smoke on the dance floor and wondering if there was a smoking rule. I also remember having some trouble with my parking and getting no help from the attendant.
