The FLEXSpas Atlanta Sex Club Review

0

INTRODUCTION:

I never thought I'd ever go to a bathhouse in this day and age, but one of my very good and very out friends decided I needed to last week. I had just come back from New York to Atlanta, so I was tired and looking to cut some stress. My good friend told me I'd love Atlanta's bathhouse scene (he's been there before) and it wouldn't be too bad to learn more about the community and see where I fit in (I've been bicurious for a while). We checked out Flexspas Atlanta's reviews on the internet a few times, and then headed there for our planned excursion. Grabbing membership was an easy step; we paid up quickly because we were late. On getting in, it became clear that we had arrived in the sexiest place in all of Atlanta. There were naked dudes everywhere, the kind you only see in porn and on Tumblr. No one was feeling shy, and I could hear moans and screams coming from an open room (they hadn't locked their door on purpose, it seems). The lockers gave the club a gym feel, as did the towels. We're not partners, so my friend and I each went to feed ourselves. The night went exceptionally well for me. I swam a little first, and in the pool I met a very good looking individual with whom we hit it off. He had a private room so I didn't need to rent one, and we used it to maximum advantage. By the time we were done, I wanted more. I've been coming back ever since.

ABOUT:

Flexspas Atlanta is easily one of Atlanta's best sex spas for gay men, and its glowing reviews on countless LGBTQ sites are enough evidence to drive the point home. Since its inception, the spa has been offering men a unique, safe platform for meeting and relaxing as they do, all at an affordable price. Unlike many gay sex clubs in Atlanta, Flexspas Atlanta is more of a bathhouse, offering wet services like a pool, a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub and more. Guests to the club can get it on anywhere they want, as their fees give them access to the whole facility. To access the club, one must be a member, and membership is easy to get. Each guest pays a daily, half year or full year membership fee that gives them access to the facilities. Then when they come over for a fun night, each guest is also supposed to offer an additional fee for their locker and rental room choices. Activities members can take part while in the facility include swimming, steaming off, group baths, hot tub dipping orgies, sex anywhere they want or within their executive suites and more. Flexspas Atlanta was started because the founder thought the city needed a good, dependable bathhouse for queer men that would also be legal, safe, fun and exciting. From my experience visiting the club these past few years, their vision is being fully realized at Flexspas Atlanta every day. Men here have daily, guilt-free, wild sex, thanks to the founder.

CONCLUSION:

I've been to a few bathhouses and gay spas ever since I took the plunge with Flexspas Atlanta, and yes, the difference is visible. Flexspas Atlanta is the better choice, and somehow, no other bathhouse has been able to make me feel as good as this one did. Maybe it's because it was exclusively for gay and bicurious men, and so everything was tailored to them. Maybe it was because my first sexual experience there was wild and super fulfilling. I can't put a lid on it. All I know is that no other sex club or bathhouse has matched what this club offered me, and I am proud of that. I have only been back three times ever since because of my frequent travels, but I always try to squeeze in a few hours whenever I am in town. Summers in Atlanta are incomplete for me without a short visit or full weekend at Flexspas Atlanta where I can soak in the sun, meet many other like-minded individuals and not worry about anything. And anyway, what's not to like? A gay bathhouse that caters exclusively to men? A bathhouse that's also really affordable because of its cheap membership fees? A club that is always safe for guests? It might have a shoddy website, but I am all for it either way. I am yet to check out the other FLEXSpas in other cities, but I am sure I'll do when I get the chance. No harm in seeing meat from other cities.

Pros
  • One wonderful bit about FLEX Atlanta is that it always has some of the finest men I've ever met in all of Atlanta, like it has a specific hotness level it let through its doors. For that matter alone, I'd gladly come back. But that's not the only reason I like Flexspas Atlanta. From my very first experience, I was floored by how clean and well-designed this club looked. Everything about it screamed state of the art despite an entrance fee and a membership fee that were lower than my J Crew Tshirt when combined. Everything was unique, right from the pool and the saunas to the very idea the club was selling, which was a wonderful place where men could meet and swim and fuck and steam off some more in a safe surrounding. I easily bought into it and I loved it. Ever since I started checking it out, I haven't had a moment of doubt or fear; the club just seems to ward off any shame or embarrassment one might feel regarding man sex. As a bicurious man, it was a good starting point to a long time of discovery. If I am to be specific, I loved how secure the place felt. I also liked that it's members only, not every hoodlum from the street. It was clean, well maintained and had lockers too. That's something. The rooms are well-fitted for sexual pleasure too; some have a St Andrews Cross fitted in. I should also give this club credit for not having too many rules for members to follow, as some of the clubs I've been to have been. Either the rules are unspoken or they are not available, but I loved the fact that I wasn't supposed to come in wearing only a three-piece suit and dress shoes.

Cons
  • As much as Flexspas Atlanta is a wonderful bathhouse, it also has a few issues that bugged me personally. Of course, these are my personal views, not the views of every guest. You'll find that like with any good location, the positives still outweigh the negatives at the end. I was bugged by the fact that the website for the sex club is dodgy and not very well-made despite seeming so. Some pages weren't loading fully on the Atlanta club's website, and therefore some important information wasn't displayed for view. Some of that information, such as the list of the different facilities the bathhouse has for guests, could not be found. Other important details like the payment means accepted were also unavailable. I was also unhappy about the lack of a clear list of rules and regulations regarding the use of the club's services, plus a list of rules on etiquette. As such, I couldn't understand the club's rules on alcohol, drugs, hookers and more until I got there and asked. I didn't even know what to wear. The site lacks a sensible FAQ section too, which is terrible. As a side note, I didn't see the website put that much emphasis on identifying members or their STI history. Like many other sex clubs, it leaves the responsibility of protection to individuals and their judgment, which I find dangerous. I tried checking out the privacy policy and terms of agreement pages, but they didn't load. Still, in comparison, all of FLEXSpas Atlanta's negatives fade in relation to its positives. It's easy to see why it's one of the most popular LGBTQ clubs in Atlanta.
