EmoPuddle.com Emo Dating Forum Review

INTRODUCTION:

I first used EmoPuddle.com about two months ago following a month of mental indecision over whether to or not to check it out. I had by then seen its page on the internet and had been tempted. When I finally checked it out, I immediately knew I had been thinking for too long. There wasn't anything wrong with being a member here. My biggest worry was that at 20, I was a little too old to be on forums. I also feared that my friends from school would find me here, and they would bully me. Still, I closed my eyes and signed up. A week later, I was still basking in the sunshine of this forum. There's so much to read from the topics already posted and most of it is people telling their opinions and deepest secrets. The community is super helpful here and protective, like they know you from somewhere. For me the biggest attraction ended up being that I didn't have to worry about being found on the platform. The platform allows emos only, and non emos are easy to see and weed out. I also didn't have to use my real image on my profile or state any personal information, such as credit card information. I ended up using the forum comfortably and meeting more new friends than I could have imagined. This is the kind of platform we all wish for. The kind where there's no judgment, where everyone's on the same page and where kindness wins. I'll definitely stay longer for this.

ABOUT:

In the world of internet forums, there isn't one that has captured the essence of community like EmoPuddle.com has. EmoPuddle.com is just one of hundreds of emo forums on the internet, but quite naturally, through its design and mission, it stands out from the rest and is instantly both memorable and likeable. The forum has been active for years now and was designed with emos in mind. The site's design edges to minimalism with a bit of depth thrown in, the kind of thing an emo would get immediately. It was designed to be a platform for emo lovers and emo people to meet and talk, and even hookup if possible. The platform aligns itself with emo culture, allowing posts from members under categories that link to emo culture's different aspects. EmoPuddle.com requires membership of its users. But unlike many other emo forums, this one actually allows creating a post before signing up. You only get to see the interaction that results from the post after you sign up though. EmoPuddle.com has members from both the US and from all over the world, all united by the power of emo love. In its quest to be safe and free environment, the forum is completely free and doesn't tolerate trolls or other abusers. It's got moderators on hand to delete and deactivate inappropriate accounts and their owners. Even then, the forum doesn't have that many incidents of abuse and trolling, at least not in the time I've been a member.

FEATURES:

If there's anything that has kept me coming back to EmoPuddle.com over and over, it's the many features the site has in place for a seamless forum experience. I've experienced a few, especially these below:

-Forum is completely free to use; no credit card information required and no shop available

CONCLUSION:

I recently recommended EmoPuddle.com to my friends from school and their response was exactly what I'd been feeling - that this site deserves way more credit than it's already getting. Ever since I first checked it out, I have always felt lucky in a way to be on this forum, and I couldn't explain it. But now I can, and the point is simple. There are too many emo forums on the internet, but not all of them have an active community they can be proud of. EmoPuddle.com has that kind of community and more. In the few months I have been a member, I have found it to be one the easiest forums to use and easily one of the most welcoming, which for me is a huge deal. Give me friends that love me any day. I have also made some friends here, mostly guys and girls that share my love for anime but are also single or depressed, and we've even gone on to meet in person where possible. If anything, this forum is what an emo forum should look like and then some. I still marvel at the design for its uniqueness and layout, because all of the other forums I have been to haven't always been so well put together. So yea, for now, I am going to be doing more of recommending to anyone that will listen. I am going to write as many reviews as possible. That's because it's always good to share one's good fortune and I wish to share mine.

Pros
  • It's one thing to like a website and another thing altogether to love it. I love EmoPuddle.com.

I suppose it's because of the commune feeling I get when I check in here. It's like a daily unwinding conversation between blind friends that can't see one another. Anyway, I have loved every moment I've spent on the website, mostly because of a few reasons. One is the community, which is always available and always online and always warm to me. Me and the many friends I have accumulated tend to meet each other inside certain forums and comment on each other's stuff. I was a newbie for only a week. The other attraction for me is that the site ranks you higher the longer you stay on the site. I am now no longer just a Member but a Family Member, which is just so cool. As a result my topics now get even more views than ever before. I've got to highlight the site's design, which I think is immensely beautiful and worthy of all the credit it receives. I realized early on that I could actually post topics here before signing up, which just made want to sign up even more. It's not like they are forcing you or anything. You just end up doing it. As for the forums themselves, you've got to appreciate the orderliness on display through the different sections offered to users to post topics under. You just don't get lost. Plus, there's so many wonderful questions here about sexual awakening as an emo that anyone is bound to learn from. Thankfully, the forum has less restrictions on what can be posted.

Cons
  • EmoPuddle.com still ranks very high among the websites I most prefer, but that doesn't mean it's perfect in any way. In the few months since I signed up for a membership, I've seen both the ups and the downs. Luckily for me, the ups are more common here; not many downs have happened for me to report. The few downsides I have witnessed are still sore for me. I personally had a problem with the moderators of this site, because they seemed to be offline more often than they were allowed to. There weren't many problems with trolls or stuff like that, but when they did occur you sometimes saw no one standing up to them. As for the community vibe, I have always been a fan. But it sucks to post a topic and see it get over 100 responses, only to check it and find that over 50 of the responses were on another topic, which was started by someone else right within the responses. It really sucks. Also, despite the wonderful culture and atmosphere here, some of the users of this platform are super rude and unkind. It was a surprise when one user called me out for something I hadn't done and shouted it all over the forum like I was already guilty. Thankfully no one listened. Also, it's wonderful that the site design is cool and modern, but I actually had a bit of trouble getting around at first. It wasn't a problem with navigation or dead links; I just couldn't find some stuff anywhere. Site help had to come to the rescue.
