Pros

There is so much to love about EmoPassions.com that it's not hard to see why its user base just keeps growing every day. It's not just the free speech culture that's championed here, or the emo culture that's readily promoted here that keeps me coming back. There's lots more. For starters, there is the warm, welcoming atmosphere I've grown accustomed to, thanks to the deep feeling community of emos that make up this platform. The forum has surely made sharing our feelings and fears super easy and free of judgment, so much that I've been witness to many life changes and major life decisions being made on this platform. I always dreamed of a platform where I could vent without exposing my identity fully, so when EmoPassions.com came about and was fully emo, it was the gift of a lifetime. I am always excited about new users, and chatting with them in the 'Introduce Yourself' forum. The moderators here also deserve major credit, as do the site help, who I've bothered countless times since I first signed up. As for signing up and membership, it's a relief to know that signing up here doesn't mean giving in your credit card information or supplying your private details. For me, EmoPassions.com wins because it allows me some privacy while I explore deep sensitive topics on the internet that I wouldn't have otherwise touched with a 10-foot pole despite wanting to. I hope it gets even better than this, because I don't intend to sign out.

Cons

I have been using this platform for chatting and meeting new people virtually for some time now, and there are only a few issues that I have encountered. The most glaring of them all was that the design was too old fashioned at times, creating a stark difference with the newer forums I am subscribed to. Of course the design is awesome in its way, but sometimes it just doesn't feel great. Navigating the site wasn't such a breeze, because the layout wasn't all that great, and the few available menus link to only a few sections. Or maybe the website itself has few sections? I would also have loved it if this platform was fully emo. I know that it's fully emo and they say that it is, but some people here seem to be goths that are looking to cause trouble. As a result I feel some features of emo culture are left out or just not explored better. There was a forum for introducing oneself, which was cool, but then everyone had to create a new post to introduce themselves, which became tiresome to see. As a newbie, only about 5 people responded to my introduction post. The people here are always warm in discussions and super lively too, but there are trolls here too, some of whom are left to roam for a while before being deactivated. That worries me. Speaking of deactivation, I wonder how one can delete their account? I always like to think I know my way out should I want to leave. Thankfully they have a good privacy policy here.
