Pros

The branding of BlackTryst.com is probably the thing that they've done the best, out of all of the great things they've created with this dating site. It's great to see a dating site that pays so much attention to the idea of making themselves into a recognized brand, not just by a catchy name, but also by their visual layout, its tagline (which acts almost like a jingle), and the way that it displays its members. By making its members look good, it has grown a significant and loyal membership, that loves knowing that they're on a premium black dating site, and not having to wade through the waters of the larger and less focused dating sites.
  
There's a great group of singles (both men and women) on the site, who seem like really cool and likeable people that I'd get along with.
The ability to simply set your settings to older, younger, or around the same age, has eliminated probably my number one pet peeve with dating sites. So well done, BlackTryst.com! This will save users from having to go in and change their age ranges as they get older, and avoid the awkward period where people have been on a site for too long, and haven't bothered to change the age range, so find themselves on dates with men and women who may actually not be the right age for them anymore.
Signing up for the site is incredibly easy, and there's a very thorough FAQ available for users.

Cons

This is a really solid black dating and hookup site, and there aren't that many glaring omissions that I can really think of when trying to figure out what the site is missing. Just small things, that certainly aren't going to make me not continue using the site. It's a really high class and premium dating site full of young, cute, and successful black singles, which is exactly what I'm looking for.
  
Even though I know that a big part of why premium sites have such strong dating pools is that their membership fees weed out the cheaper or less-passionate singles on the internet, I have to admit that sometimes when I find myself on a great date that I've found through a free site, I wonder if I really need to have a premium dating site charge on my monthly credit card bill.
  
The only other thing I can think of is that I wish all members were given the fast food menu treatment that I mentioned earlier. It's such an incredible and attractive way to display members, that even if there was a sort of vetting process, where only people with professional photos got that treatment, it would still be better than the current layout (which works very well, but could be slightly more visually appealing if they treated all members like their model members).
  
Overall, these are very small issues, that aren't a big enough deal to change my opinion on the site.
