Nick is my boyfriend and I met him on the same day I used this forum for the first time. This forum grabbed my attention immediately when I first saw it; I landed on it by mistake. I was browsing SoEmo.co.uk as usual when I saw they had forums. Of course, I wondered how I hadn't seen the link before, because I had been checking out the website for a while. Anyway, I was super lonely at the time and very depressed, so I just clicked on it and checked it out. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. The moment I landed, I knew I was in the right place. The forum was more than 100% emo, no questions asked. Signing up was fast. I had an account in minutes, and then it was time to check out the forums. If you haven't met welcoming folks in your life before, if people have always run away from you, it's the opposite. I was literally welcomed into the 'club'. Maybe I happened to check in on a good day because I had over 15 responses welcoming me. I hadn't been on any emo dating forums when I first landed on

SoEmo.co.uk, but I have since visited a few, and the difference is clear. SoEmo.co.uk is way BETTER! I always want to check for alternatives before I decide if something really works for me, so the alternatives I checked out gave me the answer I was expecting. Most of them didn't put safety first, despite acknowledging the sensitive nature of their users. Some of them didn't have as many discussion rooms as I'd have wanted, while others had extremely stringent rules on new sign-ups. From my experience, no other does it better than SoEmo.co.uk. While checking in, I had a feeling that half of the people on this forum were bots rather than actual people, so I was skeptical AF and not sure if this would work. But it did, and I've never been more grateful. I considered applying to be a site model because their submission process was easy, but I couldn't find the time to upload the pictures. SoEmo.co.uk for making emo look beautiful and normal. It's just so lovely seeing and talking people that look like you in huge numbers, because you know they understand. SoEmo.co.uk helped me find my people. Most of the people I found there were quite nice to me, and they understood my troubles and loneliness and listened to me when I wrote my poems. That's also how I met Nick, so that's double what to thank for.
